The EIC Accelerator programme is open to SME and small mid-cap companies that have a breakthrough technology at TRL 5 and only need the solution to be dismantled at TRL 5-8 to be implemented for operational use and commercialised and market scaled at TRL 9.
Capital funding for work at TRL 9. This is the stage when the final solution is produced in large quantities and market scaling, marketing and promotion takes place.
The EIC Accelerator is targeting SME and small mid-cap entrepreneurs wishing to pursue a project on their own to commercialise a breakthrough innovation.

(calculated for the entire capital group and related entities).

The EIC Accelerator programme finances the entire innovation development process with the grant. Under the investment component, it is possible to finance all the work necessary to commercialise the solution, market the product, scale the business/product, marketing and promotion.

In the EIC Accelerator you can receive mixed financing (so-called blended finance) to support the solution development process (R&D work from TRL 5 to 8) and its implementation and scaling (TRL 9).
The call for applications for the EIC Accelerator competition is ongoing. The short application call is ongoing, evaluation takes approximately 6 weeks. Deadline for submission of full application in 2023: by 11 January 2023 (Open only), by 22 March 2023 (Open and Challenges), by 7 June 2023 (Open and Challenges), by 4 October 2023 (Open and Challenges).
